Lepto3GR (50mcg)
Lepto3GR is structurally based around the backbone of the GIP amino acid sequence.
Its chemical architecture shares similarities with existing triple GIP/GLP-1/GCG receptor agonists, with position #17 featuring an attachment to a patented albumin binder in place of a fatty diacid chain.
This structural configuration results in a molecule with 20x the receptor binding affinity to the GLP-1 receptor, 16x the receptor binding affinity to the GIP receptor, and 18x the receptor binding affinity to the glucagon receptor, relative to the measured receptor binding affinities of comparable triple-receptor agonist compounds to these receptors.
These modifications were designed with the intention of producing greater receptor engagement across all three GPCR targets and studying downstream effects on fat metabolism and nutrient partitioning in preclinical models.
Preclinical research observations also suggest a more favorable tolerability profile, with reduced incidence of gastrointestinal observations such as nausea and allodynia compared to existing GPCR agonist compounds.
Another notable structural feature of Lepto3GR is its dramatically extended estimated half-life period, which may support less frequent compound application intervals and lower per-application concentrations in research models.
